This Privacy Policy explains what information MissedCue (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using MissedCue, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Business details you enter — the business names, industries, locations, websites, competitors, and client details you provide to run scans and organize workspaces.
- Reports and monitors — the reports we generate and the monitoring configurations you save.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive your plan and payment status but do not store your full card number.
- Usage data — basic information such as scans run and sign-in activity, used to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service: to generate competitor gap reports, run scheduled monitoring, deliver reports by email, manage your plan and scan allowance, support your account, and keep the Service secure.
Service providers we share with
We share limited information only with providers that help us run MissedCue:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- AI and search providers (such as OpenAI) — to analyze businesses and discover competitors. We send the business and competitor details needed to produce a report.
- Email delivery — to send report emails, monitoring alerts, team invites, and account messages to the recipients you specify.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account and report data while your account is active. You can delete saved reports and clients from the portal. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize associated data except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Team accounts
If you join an Agency account as a team member, the account owner can see the clients, reports, and monitoring within that shared account, and can manage your seat.
Your choices
You can update your business details and report recipient in Settings, delete reports and clients you no longer need, and cancel your subscription in Billing. To request access to or deletion of your personal information, contact us.
Children
MissedCue is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you where appropriate.
