What does MissedCue actually scan?

MissedCue compares the business details you enter against nearby competitors and looks for practical conversion gaps: missing offers, weak trust proof, unclear CTAs, service pages competitors explain better, booking friction, and positioning cues that can influence whether a visitor calls.

What do I get in a report?

A report includes a score, competitor names/signals, missing opportunities, prioritized recommendations, evidence notes, and next steps. The goal is not a generic SEO checklist; it is a focused action plan for what the business should improve first.

Is this only for plumbers?

No. Plumbing is used as the public sample because local service businesses are easy to compare. MissedCue is designed for service categories like HVAC, roofing, med spas, dentists, salons, auto repair, cleaning, landscaping, contractors, gyms, and similar local businesses.

How are the $10 pass, the $50 Pro plan, and the $99 Agency plan different?

The $10 report pass adds one paid scan to an account. The $50/month Pro plan includes 30 scans per month with saved reports and ongoing monitoring while the subscription is active. The $99/month Agency plan includes virtually unlimited scans (a 100+ fair-use allowance) and is built for agencies and consultants running scans and monitoring across multiple client businesses. Monthly scan counts reset on the 1st.

Can I use reports for client prospecting?

Yes. A report can be useful for finding specific improvement angles before pitching a local business. The strongest use is to show concrete missed opportunities and then offer help implementing the fixes.

Does MissedCue guarantee more leads or revenue?

No. The report identifies likely conversion and positioning gaps, but results depend on the business, the market, how quickly changes are implemented, traffic quality, pricing, reputation, and follow-up. It should be treated as decision support, not a guaranteed outcome.

Why does competitor context matter?

A business does not compete against an abstract best practice. It competes against nearby alternatives a customer can call today. Seeing what those competitors make obvious helps reveal which trust cues, offers, and CTAs may need to be clearer.

Can I save and email reports?

Yes. Reports are saved in the customer portal, and the app includes email delivery so the findings can be sent to yourself, a client, or a team member.

What should I do after getting a report?

Start with the highest severity fixes: update the hero section, improve the main CTA, add missing offers or financing language, strengthen trust proof, and create service-area proof. Those are usually faster wins than broad redesigns.
